Ok so while I was watching all these funny jka movies made online.. And with the idea already in my head... I thought, why couldnt we make a movie? Nothing big, maybe 10-15 mins long. A simple mission through the gate, featuring our levels, models, skins, and everything ours. We could upload it to JK3Files.com and people watching would be like "hey? I wonder what that mod is..." At the end we could have the site address and maybe get more hits? Just a thought... But it's something I've always wanted to do. And we already have a great story teller... *points firmly at Cam *...

I'm learning to make cut scenes... Or we could use Fraps or some other recording software and edit it.. I dunno, just a thought...

Hows about a story in a different time line?

1920's, before the gate was even discovered, the Goa'uld come in full fleet to destroy Earth, we learn about the Gate from a Tok'Ra hiding amongst there ranks and use it to make contact with a growing Tok'Ra resistance, and take back our planet! Or something like that...

I like it...1920's military against the Goa'uld. But something we'll have to keep in mind is that a few divisions of the US military began later in the 20th Century.
In the from 1920-30, we had the following divisions of military in the United States.
- US Navy - began October 13, 1775
- US Army - began June 14, 1775
- US Marine Core - began November 10, 1775
- BUT, the US Air Force had not been created until September 18, 1947 when the National Security Act of 1947 was passed with its three divisions of military, the Navy, the Army, and the newly created Air Force.
The thing about the Air Force and stargate is that the USAF addresses air and Aerospace, they also have NORAD in Cheyenne Mountain, which explains why the SGC was stationed there. But if you want to focus on a more military movie, then the THREE divisions of military we had pre-1947 would suffice very nicely, which means we would have ground troops, Battleships, and I think an aviation division of the US army.

We can use Hyper Cam (no, not my super hero alter ego), then just do what we were going to do for the lines, whether they're voice overs or just text. Better sound effects too maybe.
