?? I don't think the peeps can do squat about you working at 13. If you're not payed, then you aren't really an employee. Plus, since we're pretty international (ie, Romania, America, Canada, Germany, Australia, etc) then, if we could be in trouble, no one would want to because we're so international. No worries.
By the way, dream weaver is a great program. You open it up and design your website with uploading images and stuff, real easy. But once you're done with designing it can convert it to HTML or some other code for you.

DEAR GOD THANK YOU! I FINALLY get to throw some ideas out there
Right now I'm writing a book on "the orion conspiracy" (good stuff), but I've got some ideas.
First off, I'd be honored if warp gate got modded. I could throw out the series bible I made for it, so you'd know more than the guys who read my scripts would (Wow, I kinda kicked that series around :/ ). But if you give me a moment, I can get you guys some great story lines, non-stargate

Yea, I like the whole Warp Gate idea, its a pretty open universe in my opinion, and it suits Cam in terms of storyline, look at it this way, the 'first' game is already done, he's done an entire season already

I think we're gunna need a pretty flashy site, I was contemplating, because of the fact we do need a good site, that we find someone who can make it for us cheap, I mean, if we're gunna do this we'll also kinda need sponsors and such, its gunna be hard to start off, but if we get some people interested, we might have a winner, I've got no problem myself running publicity stuff, plus me and Cam can work together on some storyline stuff.

That's a good idea Tony, but should we add a forum to our website or put a link to this forum on our website?

Personally, I think we should rename this site specifically to something that fits this mod more particularly, then make a second one, naming it in accordance with its subject matter. Horizon Studios can be the parent company.
By the way, I'm excited about adding in Warp Gate and would love to discuss anything. But I have future plans for this series, so I have to just mention that if we do this, it's gotta have that I, Nathan Smith, was the original creator of the universe it was based in (that sounds almost godly...). I just have a plan or two for this in my future career and I need to make sure someone doesn't jump in (not you guys, some punk with the stones to copyright this) and steal the product of Tony and I's brainstorming.

Trust me, if anyone steals any idea from this, I will personally sue them! I think we need an entirely new forum, probably best to keep with phpBB for the forum, since we all know how to use it, we should keep this forum for historical purposes and stuff, problem is we'll need craploads of bandwidth for downloads, I think we need to find a host thats got some damn good bandwidth, and also we should setup a Paypal account that we can use for donations and such.

Also, Cam, can you find out if we can copywrite Warp Gate? I think we may need to for this, I'm starting to have like a bit of doubt XD

I'm not totally sure on how we can copyright a name or idea. But I also think we need money for that too. Dang. We may just need to make that CC license for it, but I already have one of those for the scripts.
I just got done talking with Dex about the design by the way. Anyway, if anyone steals the idea, I think we're pretty set with the times of editing and everything that my forum has in it, and the times that the actual files on my computer say they've been edited. Not sure how this works though.

we don't REALLY need to spend money now...its just a project. If we do make something GREAT then you could easily start charging. Right now we need to focus more on getting the skill...because why spend all this money and time on buildings, names, and web sites if you don't have the skills or product to back up the cost?

My problem is the fact we won't make money from a game on the Q3 engine unless its fraking awesome! I say do one game, then consider like payed expansions or something if it takes off.

that sounds like the right idea, in that case I think Cam needs to revise the story a bit, he wants to redo it anyways.. We need something that will REALLY get peoples attention and keep them playing. and wanting to play it over and over. I'm gonna learn bump mapping so it will look more like D3's graphics.
