| I've done it again. This may be the death of me, but on August 1, I will be releasing something alongside Warp Gate 0012. Battlestar Helios is as you know, a Galactica fanfic series. Here's the synopsis. - Synopsis - A newly completed battlestara and its crew, are in the right place, at the right time, and avoid being destroyed by the Cylon attack on the twelve colonies. The crew of the Helios, find a large convoy of ships, moving with the Battlestar Galactica. They decide to pursue it, and stay alive, fighting the Cylons, and trying to reunite themselves with the survivors of humanity. Hopefully you'll like this. Again, it can all be seen at http://the-new-sg1.forummotion.comAugust 1, will be so busy for me, and I have a feeling these two series', are going to be the death of me. So, here we go. | |

| I am posting here to notify you that Battlestar Helios was created and went online with YahooGroups in May 1999 and I have owned the registered domain rights to BattlestarHelios.com for the past 7 years.
Because our group is listed as both a role-playing organization and a fan fiction area - we allow lurkers to join the YahooGroups list to simply read if they so wish and we do in fact have quite a few people who are not active players but instead simply read the stories being created and played out - Please rename your fan-fic series. A Google search will bring up multiple entries referencing our group.

| Helios, I'm gonna tell you the same thing I told you on ERP, I don't care about the name TAKE IT!!! Don't just launch a bunch of random messages on EVERY forum I've ever been on, AND e-mail me. Just E-mail me and I'll deal with it. But the thing I said on ERP, you can't patent a fanfiction, because the intellectual property is actually Glen Larson's and Ronald Moore's. Second, greek gods, Olympiads, nymphs and what not, can't be patented. They are names, not things you come up with. If I have some dude name Doug, and I name a ship, the USS Doug, I can't patent that. | |

| Again with what I said on ERP to defend Mitchell... dude... I can't patent the word "cheese" you can't patant the word "Helios" That would be like patenting the number 300 just because it was used in the movie, therefore it can NEVER EVER BE USED INCONJUSTION WITH ANY OTHER WORDS EVER! Or you shall suffer the penalty of:
ONE HUMAN SOUL
But yeah, again, be glad he changed it and didn't start a massive flame war about this. Most people would NOT have been for cooperative.
And one more thing... kind of annoying how you posted on about half the sites I have favourited... I'll be it I only have about 7 or 8... but still. You could have just asked him politely lol.

| TY, but apparently, the Sci-Fi Meshers are getting PO'd at me again, and it may become a struggle to keep most things in my Stargate Aurora fanfic, led alone my site... But, I'm very concerned with a sci-fi trilogy I'm currently finishing the second screenplay on, and trying to get my freelance writer jobs to take off. Whatever. TY everyone | |

| SFM is after me again. They keep pushing their noses into my site, and sniffing every which way they can find. I got a condescending (You heard me) PM from one of them, saying that posting artwork from SFM on my art gallery or on my photobucket, shows me as the author in really small text. Now he's all pissy and is even saying that the playlist could get me in SERIOUS trouble. I can tell a subtle threat. Needless to say, I was as diplomatic as you know me to be... I broke my foot off in his backside. Anyone who's going to threaten my site, and in turn, the members of that site, are gonna get a fun little message from me. Cease-and-desist, or my site won't be the one to fall... | |

| Ok ok ok everyone calm down... K.. breath, breath, hee hee hoo! hee hee hoo!!.. ok.. Now after talking to one of the smartest persons I know about stuff like this. **(my girlfriend)** She said so long as it says "Author : Cameron Mitchell" under any of the pictures on your site with out any credit to the owner. It's illegal. Now if there is credit to who it belongs and where it came from *meaning site, etc* on your page then they can't touch you. They do however have the right to have there work removed. Also if the image contains a signature from the author you need to ask the author for permission to use the image or it could result in a law suit.
All that over a picture... BS huh?
Also the Helios thing, as far as I know, if they are paying for the domain name, it's copyrighted. Same with Horizon Studios, the name is copyrighted. Now if you change the name SLIGHTLY, as in, The Battle Star Helios IT should be ok.....
If you look at the bottom of his page, it says.
"Battlestar Helios, and all original characters and story lines presented here are the copyright (c) of their creators and the Battlestar Helios RPG. @1999"
Which reminds me, I need to put the copy right thing down at the bottom... again... lol
Hope some of that helps.

| Not to step on any toes or bring up old business, but I really don't care anymore. I decided to revamp the pilot I had ready for this series and make it a one time thing. I'm gonna say this now, I don't give a flying frak about Heliosowner or his RP, in the sense that I don't care about his claim of the name Helios. I'm not infringing things because I'm not using any names or story plots that he uses. To be honest, when he posted his link to the site, I literally just glanced at it, and moved on. I have no idea how they even RP even. Anyway, without further ado, I give to you, Battlestar Helios. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The crew of the BS-114 fight to find out what has happened to the twelve colonies and what to do now that they are some of the few of humanity that are still alive.
