| I have downloaded the files and attempted the previous solution suggested on this board. I could not find it again, so I apologize since this is a repeat of the previous topic. My question is this: How do you use the current version of JKA SG:EH on a Mac. I have removed various files, including the .dlls and the .exes, but no combination seems to work. Removing the faulty .pk3s from last time do not improve the situation, and moving the other files out of their respective folders does not help either. JKA boots up fine, but crashes while trying to load any map. | |

| I'm not sure.. if Shep was on here he could answer this best. As far as I know you need to uninstall JKA, removing any pk3's except the asset pk3's for the game, then reinstall jka and extract SGEH in your base.. but again, I'm not sure on a Mac... | |

| Dex: That is not how the beta versions worked, so I don't think that is what I am supposed to do. Could be wrong on this version, though.
PrincessAmyRose: Indeed I am. I think. I checked and my current version is 1.0.1e. | |

| You have the new one? http://amyrose1477.diinoweb.com/files/StargateEH1.0.zipAnd yes, that is how the V1 release has to be installed. If not then you get several errors, including the game crashing. Believe me, I didn't like it either but everyone insisted I do so and it worked. | |

| The way I posted how to install the game IS how it is to be installed. Any other way, like Dex stated, will cause errors. | |

| Unfortunately, my diagnosis anyway, since this was constructed in Windows, scripts and all, it may not work for Mac users... But I'm not a computer genius AT ALL... | |

| Eh. Too bad, I was looking forward to this. If I had more time, I might be able to make it work, but as it is, I am in too many classes. Maybe sometime… | |

| I hear you, classes consume a LOT of time. Please, PLEASE stick around and sooner or later, we may find someone who can make this mod work on both Windows and Mac. | |

| You certainly don't have to worry about me sticking around. I have been watching from a distance for almost as long as you have had this forum up. I just never registered until recently. | |
