I think all starting points should happen off world. Because then it gives us a chance to close the iris on noobs aka trouble makers. Also maybe a possible ring point in a secret location for us to gain access to the base and only spread the location by word of mouth for if we give it out on the forums they could find it as easy as if it was a download.

I have had bad runs with people finding maps online and goofing off on them just to cause trouble...I think this could save us alot of trouble and time for when GMs arn't on...

I don't have any problems with new people...I just want them to sign up with the forums before causing random fights ^_^

OKAY!!!!!!!! I suggested this on ERP, but I've finally developed it into UBER stuff, so, I was thinking we could add a self destruct to all maps, like so we could just gate offworld and be safe while the nublets are blown to smitherines!!! Anywho, if we do do this, we would need it to be in a generic place for all maps, like behind the DHD or dialing compys and such, like a keypad code sequence Very Happy

the thing is....we can't do keypad stuff...or at least none of us are that good in scripting....but you know like in erp where we had that lock down room....I think it would be good to have one of those and have everything else explode or something... or everyone else warped out....XD I know on ships we could suck them into space...they have that on one stargate map...

why beam off? why not just be in a room that doesn't decompress XD personally I would love to sit and watch them die...XD

If I was to place a destruct button and blow a map up it would crash the game. Then it would be ruined for all users and you would be forced to rejoin. A big bomb thing wouldn't be practical. Though it's possible to have a bot programed and when someone enters a map with out entering like a password or says something the bot kicks the user.. but then if all the noobs get kicked we wont have any fun killing them all evil like!!! But placing a trigger that will kill everyone when activated is easy.
