 My wip on stargate map

Ok, i have decided to create a topic for my WIP
So as I have already put on my presentation topic, I put my gallery link and my Youtube's videos.

Ok, I stop my SGC during few time because I will make a new world. I'll connect it to my sgc

It's an imaginary ship, the particularity is I work essentialy with "curves"

Just keep in mind that extensive curves drop fps with the gate and make them lag up.

Dex, I know curves take less fps than brush, the problem is the Visualisation engine, Quake Engine don't do -VIS with curve, the consquence are the Lagg up ^^ so I do many aeraportal and I do my own -VIS compilation with hint, etc.
Now I have an average of 50 fps with a 6600GT and 26 with Ati9200 series (I tested yesterday with an old pc because i have a gtx285, because i use Crysis's sandbox, i can't see if it lagg ^^)

Am I right in thinking that this ship is based on Asgard designs? It kinda gives me the impression of an Asgard designed ship.

(PS: Someone really needs to make an Asgard player model, lol.)

I would not claim to teach you something^^, I just follow tutorial and manuels rabbit
I read many documents about quake III Engine...that's all...

Blocks vis when a door is closed, to function the brush has to be textured with the "skip" shader and ONE face has to be textured with the "areaportal" shader, then the face with the "areaportal" shader has to be exactly in the middle of the door.

-new door
- door's control panel appear from ground when you are near the door
- A new central room (in developement)

I'll release a beta in few weeks. I don't know if I release only the SGC or if I release SG and an other part connected. I'm going to post a demonstration video for my multi dial script. Very Happy
