I'm no good with HTML, but you can get a torrent of something called Dreamweaver. It's basically something that you open up, make a background in a little screen, type out what you want, yadda yadda yadda, and then you press a button or something and it converts it to HTML code. Then you can go to nearly free speech (dot) com, or just google it, and it'll host it for a VERY cheap price.

well they actually have layouts now and helpers ON the free website places. I used one for a web page I made along time ago but I have NO idea where it is anymore or what free web service I used.

But dream weaver is a good thing to learn!

If you want a fancy looking free website thats made with flash, use Cabanova, I'm good with it, can't host anything but pictures on it though, unless you pay for it plus you'd probably need a domain, free account name is like "blahblah.cabanova.com" or something

Appologies for the crappy look right now. I'll be uploading the new skin for the site bit by bit over the next week. I have the original skin saved so if the new one isnt to anyones liking, then it can be changed back easy enough.

For now, he is what the new logo will look like.

I figure since it's supposed to be a site for "scifi" gaming and art, it would be nice to have some other things on the pic, starwars, firefly, bsg, gundam, and of course, stargate.

I was looking at the bg.....I like it and all just one thing that annoys me. Above the post lines on the main page there is a white thing poking up and a yellow....I find those annoying, but thats just me. If those where blacked out (easily done in photoshop) I would say it would be perfect. But again thats just me so you don't have to do anything ^_^

Yea, I need 2 fix the pic. It's supposed ot be smaller, it's actualy a planet with the sun in he bg, it looked good wen i made it but i need ot shrink it down lol
