| Since a big part of the Atlantis set consists out of only 3 or 4 different parts (main set, some rooms, the new corridors and the atrium) it'll be very easy to just use parts of them to create new rooms, like the gym (and the mess, which has already been done). In my opinion this is a very good way to create a big challenging map in a fairly easy manner. Note that the key to this is having alot of detail in those rooms to make them a challenging enviroment to roleplay and fight in. | |

| Indeed it is. In my version of Atlantis I completed Rodney's Lab, the Ward, Mess Hall and it's outside part *which you've seen in Joel's Map* , And the Library. I joined this mod and stopped working on it though. I gave a few parts to Joel, and I will need a copy of his to make the other rooms so we can keep the scale the same. I use GTK 1.4 and he uses GTK 1.5... for some reason when I load a map made in 1.5 every thing is way off scale for me... Think once I finish my new map I'll get a copy and make new rooms and such and we will re-release the Atlantis stand alone map in the next pack. | |

| well your partly right.....detail is nice...but its not the KEY factor to role playing... also they can't put in TOO much detail because then we suffer with FPS and its not really a roleplay if the server is so lagged it can only stand to have 1 person on it at a time. | |

| Atlantis is one of those things that everyone wants to see in FULL Its never been done before, I think if this TC can pull it off, you'll see more interest | |

| It is not about the size of a map, its what makes it interesting. Textures are very very important because they can make the map come to life, just like lighting. That is partially what I mean by detail. Also things as tables, some stuff laying arround, things that make a place human. It is my understanding that models are a good way to add a lot of detail without harming the FPS much. | |

| Hey all! Just popping in from someone elses compy to say hello, personally, I have no idea where I am and I can barely see this compy's screen, anywho, I do think Varrok has a partial point, we can't map the whole city, one it's HUGE, two, unlike three million dollar man, we don't have the technology, and three, we haven't seen the whole place, but I don't know about you all, but I'm pretty happy with what Jack and DeX (lol Jack and daxter) were able to create. OH! we should make an Atlantis space battle, the middle of no where, lots of replicator ships and puddle jumpers, 304's and 302's, awesome, but I digress, good times in Atlantois, and someone send me a map See everybody wedensday | |

| I'M BACK!!!!!!!!! Okay everybody, I have a new idea , we make several maps of the city, like map one of one of the piers, another of the main towers, another of the other piers and such, and maybe one of Atlantis in space, fighting stuff, like hippies!!! | |

| lol.. i just had a dream that i was working on something and a freaking hippy with a flash light tried to get in my house! i was like "No! mom! dont open the door! theres a hippy out there!!!!".... funky...
I made a model of the whole city.. i think i have it somewheres.. it works in jka so... lemmie see... | |
